Health & Safety Policy
Health and Safety
The general well-being of every person involved in our
activities is of paramount importance; this includes our own personnel,
our clients and all visitors to our client's premises.
Our Health and Safety procedures are well documented and include a Health and Safety Policy, generic and site specific risk assessments for both specified cleaning activities and the Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH).
We operate a colour coding system for all clothes and mops and where appropriate our staff are provided with the necessary PPE protection. Our machinery is regularly checked to see that it complies with the Electricity at Work Regulations and is PAT tested annually.
Our staff receive an induction at the commencement of their employment which includes basic training in the aspects of Health and Safety and COSHH that is applicable to their job. This training becomes more detailed for certain types of contract where specific risks have been identified. These situations would include hospitals and surgeries, laboratories, high level work, lifting and heavy machinery, toxic chemicals, drilling and welding, loud noise etc.
We are proud of our record to date and are determined to maintain it.
Insurance
As you would expect from a professional company T.C.S
carries extensive insurance - our standard cover for Employer's Liability
is £20m and £10m for Public and Products Liability - and
our staff are all fidelity guaranteed and insured to hold keys and
alarm codes.
Our policy is available for inspection and any additional special risks can be catered for.
